I wish I had a fancy header, but dA changed the BG colour of the journals again (sigh), so I'll hafta make one.

I'm honestly terrible at updating my journal. TERRIBLE. I am sorry. My blog [link] has much, much more frequent updates. I've started down at SCAD Atlanta on my MFA in Illustration, and I'm super stoked. I'll be posting finished works on here, but my blog will have more WIPs and sketches and doodlies, so go there if you like... care or something ;)

Thank you so much for the DD!
Holy crap, I was so surprised! The morning I got it, I was actually completely preoccupied with moving all my stuff out of my house in Baltimore and onto a truck to ship it down to Atlanta, and starting the 12 hour drive with my mum and sister. I had no idea. Wasn't even online. I actually found out because someone commented on my blog with the image in it. And I was like WHAT THERE MUST BE SOME MISTAKE.

But no. Hopped onto dA and got punched in the face with all the favs and comments --- thank you! That punch in the face felt great ;) I really appreciate all the support you guys have given me, and I've been hoping my work would be good enough to make DD one day, so hooray!

A huge thank you to *shinkamalei and ~InspiredbyJack for suggesting, and ^Syrilla for featuring me!

It seriously made my day. What a great way to start my trip down to Atlanta, and a great way to head off the New Year!

But sorry I'm such a loser and barely update this thing. Hugs for all ~ love you guys.

1. All orders require 50% payment upfront to start commission, and require last 50% before artwork is sent without glaring ugly watermark.

2. All orders through paypal. I do not accept checks, money orders, giftcards, or art trades at this time.

3. All commissions come with sketch phase for commissioner to make any changes before proceeding. I'm happy to make changes on a commission, but please be reasonable and timely with your suggestions.

4. NO: chibis, mecha, porn, cityscapes, all-black outfits
YES: light nudity, couples, animals, full BG

5. After commission is completed, you may only use the artwork for personal use. Any posting of the work is expected to be paired with credit & link to my gallery.

6. I, the artist, am allowed to use/change/adapt the artwork in any way I see fit for personal and marketing purposes. I retain all rights to the work.

Ah, I'm in my second semester of college. Freshman haha
It's keeping me busy and away from my art, but when I do get a chance to draw, I can feel myself improving. I'm leaning more and more towards a simplistic and cartoon-y style, but I'm happy with it.

My college offers a few figure drawing classes, so I think I'll take one as an elective next semester.

I stopped getting on Gaia as well. People are just really rude there lol

Awesome! I'm glad you like it so far and still have time for drawing :)

We're on a quarter-system, so I'm approaching finals and I'm so burnt out hahahahha /twitches

I hope you get a chance to take some figure stuff! We have a workshop every Friday, I'm hoping to make it to the one tomorrow :)

And yea, people on there think they're hot shit, but 95% of them don't actually do anything with their art. The whole thing has lost so much credibility with me. :shrug:

Glad to hear that it's not just me being a lunatic. I know others feel the same ;)
