.Waltz of the Jellyfish.by ~Lii-chan

Just something that popped into my head yesterday afternoon, lol. Recently went to the aquarium with my little sister to see the "Jellies Invasion" exhibit, and I've been wanting to paint them ever since.

For fun, and to see if I could paint faster. Also some challenges here.

Beautiful! I really do adore your aquatic pieces, and these little jellyfish are quite lovely. I like the corals topping the image as well, and the way her feet dangle over a bottomless blue canvas really give a sense of the cold ocean depths.

This is lovely

Beautiful job on getting the translucent fabric right; on the jellyfish and the girls dress.
I like the subtle use of complimentary colours, as well

The fabric was tough to figure out, and I definitely could improve upon it, but for a first time, I'm pretty happy. ^^

Jellyfish are something amazing. They kept my nephew (he has autism) calm the whole time we were in Chicago. He thought that Moon Jellys were the best kind of Jelly fish out there. They had them under a black light so you could see their rings.

I love the overall flow of the piece. Calming, but energetic at the same time.

Awww, I love jellies! When my sis and I were at the aquarium, we saw upside-down jellies - they were incredible. A lot of this piece was ref'd from my cell phone pics hahah
